PUF (polyurethane insulating foam) is the most widely or commonly used insulation. CFC-11 is used to produce PUF insulation which is harmful. Cyclopentane is optimal replacement for CFCs. Hi Ganesh, Thank you for your prompt reply. I have zeroed in on Samsung 46 inches and was surprised that you recommended 46 A550P1. I am sure you know better but is it better to go for 46 A610 or 650 A1. If there is not a lot of difference then I will go as per your suggestion. Regarding the home theater, I would like to go for blu ray DVD player with assembled AV receiver and speakers. If there is a better alternative let me know. Among Samsung models no doubt LA46A650A1 is the best choice with higher contrast ratio, faster response time, 100Hz motion flow technology, ample connectivity and attractive design. As you said if budget is not a problem then going for 46A650 is more advisable. While between 46A550 and 46A610, 5 series model is still advisable considering both models have similar picture, sound and connectivity features, as for difference 46A610 has built-in HD Tuner and crystal design. As for home theater you have Blu-ray player choices from Sony like BDP-S300 and BDP-S1E, but if you are into gaming then you can also consider Sony PS3 (Gaming console-Blu-ray player) as well. For AV receivers you have choices from brands like Harman Kardon, Denon, Onkyo and Yamaha for speakers you have choices from Jamo, JBL, Infinity, Polk Audio etc. Since you are considering high-end HTS we suggest you to pay attention to the quality of cables as well, as in such cases they cost around 8-10 percent of total HTS, but performance promised is worth it. Even though 32” Samsung 5 & 6 series have USB port, dealer told me that I cannot run DIVx format movies on these. Also sound is not very powerful on them but I am impressed by picture quality most and I do not want to go for LG80FR to overcome these. Do you agree with these shortcomings in Samsung? It is right that Samsung 5 and 6 series models with USB Port support only MP3 and JPEG picture files, not DivX video files. If you have found picture performance of Samsung models upto your satisfaction then go for it, as for sound performance in LCD TVs is really not that impressive because of its design and location, so hooking them to home theater system is right solution.
